Trip: In general, we enjoyed the balance of excursions and free time except in Maui because there was so much more to have been seen. The Road to Hana was a choice which took a full day (and was discouraged ) but we could have used the bus to have seen more of the island locally. There was too much free time on Kauai as well. I’m sure we were given the time so that we could experience the resort however for the age group that Luxury Gold attracts, a little pool time goes a long way.
Service: Luxury Gold holidays always go beyond the expectation. The hotels are amazing and the restaurant experiences are such a treat. In a short period of time we experienced far more than we ever could have if we had been travelling by our selves. We had the lovely choice of doing things as a couple or being with others of the group. Lovely balance.

Trip: My husband and I thought that the night flight to Maui was too late in the day. We would have preferred to get there earlier. Also would have really preferred to have a 3 night stay in Maui and only 2 nights in Kauai. This could be accomplished by rearranging the order of the islands. Also have more entrée choices for included dinners. The Canoe Restaurant was excellent as was Roy's. Group dinner at Humu's and Tidepools was very bland and not even3 stars.
Service: Tour guide (Julie Bass) was very clear and personable.

Trip: The excursions were fantastic. Enough to see the sights but still have some downtime.
Service: The tour director was amazing. The daily outings and optional experiences were fantastic. The resorts on Oahu and Maui were spectacular. Insight took care of everything. It was an amazing vacation.

Trip: Well organized and well done. Accommodations were fantastic. Learned a lot about Hawaiian history and culture on the four islands we visited. I would recommend this for anyone visiting the islands for the first time.
Service: Julie was on top of everything throughout the tour ensuring we were enjoying the tour and addressing any issues or concerns that surfaced. Her knowledge of history and culture of Hawaii was helpful and evident throughout the tour. The hotels we stayed at were excellent. Each resort we stayed at was better than the previous one.

Trip: The itinerary looked good in the brochure, but we felt we would prefer to have seen more of each of the islands, and have less "free time" which was basically spent at each resort, as it was expensive and awkward to arrange any transportation away from the resorts (except in Waikiki).
Service: Resorts we stayed at were definitely luxurious. Coordination of travel arrangements was good (flights between 4 islands), but arrangements for some of the group meals weren't as good as expected.

Trip: All hotels, tours, experiences and service was exceptional with great attention to detail.
Service: Excellent and yes I would travel with insight again and also recommend such trips to others.

Trip: Itinerary was very good, covered a lot of the area, but we could have used a little more free time. I realize that allowing more free time without increasing the length of the trip removes some of the excursion opportunities. Adding more days would most likely increase the cost of the trip quite a bit.
Service: Henry Dennis, of the AAA office in Charlotte, was very good at answering the questions we had. He was always available to take phone calls.

Trip: Everything was thought out we went out everyday but everything was optional as there was a couple that didn't do everything with the rest if the group. But the last couple of days were very open which is needed as traveling around on four islands dose take it out of you but was so worth it.
Service: The minute I steped off the plane someone was waiting for me to take me to my hotel and since then I felt safe and weel looked after which really helped me enjoy my holiday. It also helped that all the hotels were lovely with amazing ocean views. But most of all Julie Bass our guide was just lovely, so welcoming and after doing this for some years now she is very good at her job, though a little strange when she says she is cold when it's in the low 20°C outside. Lastly the company was lovely which made traveling that much more enjoyable and most of all, all the amazing placed we got to see. I have already recommended insight vacations to a friend and will do so again.

Trip: Awesome trip. Great tour guide. Well organized and stress free with luggage and all airport transfers. Saw beautiful sights. Plenty of organized trips and also free time. All meals were excellent.
Service: Very organized. Stress free.

Trip: Since we considered this to be a tour primarily we would have preferred some more inclusive touring rather than"free time". For example, on Oahu only the south of the island was covered; on Maui, if you didn't take the Hana road trip you saw very little; on Kauai there could have been more sight-seeing. The resorts were fantastic but some were isolated so you were 'captive' to them for eating, say.
Service: Tour Director Julie was fantastic. Good humour and so well organised.

Trip: The itinerary and accommodations we top notch.
Service: I've not had to contact Customer Service but am sure it's as wonderful as the rest of the experience.

Trip: Hotel and amenities were great but the beach as a bit disappointing, could not go in the ocean safely as with the other hotels.
Service: Hotels and locations were wonderful.
