English and French cultures fuse into this romantic journey through the picturesque and historic cities of Eastern Canada. From high-rise Toronto to the thundering thrills of Niagara Falls, and quality time spent in the beautiful cities of Ottawa and Quebec, this Luxury Gold journey is a mixture of excitement, culture and quaint charm.

  1. Day 1

    Welcome to Toronto.

Welcome to Canada. On arrival at Toronto International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your luxury hotel, known for its grand architecture and glamorous atmosphere. At 18:00, join your Travelling Concierge for a Welcome Dinner with wine.

  2. Day 2

Toronto Sightseeing and Niagara Falls Up Close.

Spend the morning exploring and ascend to the top of the CN Tower for panoramic views. Travel along stately University Avenue to see Ontario’s Parliament buildings, Queen’s Park and the Royal Ontario Museum. Then discover one of the world’s great natural wonders, Niagara Falls, as you enjoy intimate views on a narrated cruise to the base of the falls, before exploring Niagara-on-the-Lake. Back in Toronto, your evening is at leisure.

  3. Day 3

Kingston and the Canadian Capital of Ottawa.

Travel along the shores of Lake Ontario for a tour of Canada’s first capital, Kingston. Continue to the modern capital of Ottawa where you’ll settle into your landmark hotel, reminiscent of a French chateau. In the evening, you are invited to a Highlight Dinner with wine at the Courtyard Restaurant, with its historic location and modern charm.

  4. Day 4 - Relaxed Start

    All About Ottawa.

Enjoy a truly unique experience – meet a retired member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Hear fascinating tales of what it’s like to wear the famous red serge uniform and then immerse yourself in an orientation of Ottawa. View the entrance to the famous Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and historic construction covering 125 miles (202 km) from Ottawa to Lake Ontario. Visit the impressive Gothic Parliament Buildings, before spending the rest of the day at leisure.

  5. Day 5

The Old Walled City of Quebec.

Journey along the St Lawrence River to Quebec City, North America’s first permanent French settlement and the only walled city in Canada. Enjoy an exclusive guided tour of your iconic, historic hotel with a Local Expert. Learn how the history of the chateau and the city’s inhabitants have been interwoven for so long, and gain access to areas not accessible to the general public.

  6. Day 6 - Relaxed Start

    Quintessential Quebec.

Discover Quebec City with your Local Expert. See the Citadel of Quebec, Latin Quarter, National Assembly and Place-Royale. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure in this romantic city. In the evening, view the thundering Montmorency Falls on a short orientation tour. You will then be taken on the Ile d'Orleans for a special evening at Le Moulin de Saint Laurent, a stone watermill dating back to the early 18th century. Chef Martin will prepare a Highlight Dinner while musicians entertain you with a diversified musical repertoire.

  7. Day 7

    Historic Montreal.

With your Local Expert, admire Montreal’s diversity. See historic Old Montreal with its cobblestone streets and the Old Port. Visit the dramatic Notre-Dame Basilica with its glorious stained glass windows and Saint Joseph’s Oratory, home to one of the world’s greatest pipe organs. Learn all about the organ itself and enjoy a short, exclusive selection of different music styles. Spend the evening at Gibbys, a restaurant full of old-world charm, housed in a 200-year-old building in Old Montreal. Savour French-inspired cuisine as you bid 'au revoir' to your Travelling Concierge and new friends with this palate-pleasing Farewell Celebration Dinner.

Trip: The same not3es from Beryl Brown

Service: We did enjoy our trip with Luxury Gold. All the hotels were excellent and the tours organized. Our tour director Max, was so well organized and nothing seemed any trouble to him. he did a great job. His knowledge of Canada was incredible and very interesting. We will travel and recommend Luxury Gold to anyone. And also tell our Travel Agent. Many thanks Brian and Beryl Brown

Trip: Liked everything but Kingston. It was not that charming and I would have MUCH preferred a water tour of Thousand Islands. With more information and coordination, I would have taken this tour on my own rather than walk around town or shop. We needed more free time in Ottawa and Quebec. I needed more information on tours I could take on my own in these cities. For example, I did not know that the carriage rides were informational tours, and I even asked the Quebec guide that boarded our bus.

Service: Our tour guide Ben was excellent. He was entertaining on the long drives, and when we arrived at a hotel, we were entertained in various ways until our rooms were ready.

Service: Excellent guide [ Max Davidson ], relaxed itinerary with 2 night stops and no early starts, small group, spacious bus with skilled driver, high quality hotels.

Trip: Itinerary was okay, however, there was too much bus time from one city to another

Service: Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, the coach driver was very nice also The major problem we had was too little time from getting checked into our hotels (rooms weren't ready) to having to be back down in the lobby to board coach for dinner. Too much rushing, not enjoyable😕😟

  • 11 August, 2018

Trip: loved the itinerary covered all i wanted to see

Service: overall all good except for lack of information at certain times

  • 11 August, 2018

Trip: As above, except for the dinners, no different to an ordinary insight tour.

Service: Hotels, dinners, driving and concierge were good but the local guides were not and after spending hours on a bus driving the last thing one needs is a boring talk and more driving!!! City tours could be better and less time wasted in line in the hot sun, I should think that once paying for a Luxary tour, quick entry into sights was part of the deal.

  • 06 August, 2018

Trip: Hit the key locations for that vicinity

Service: I went thru a travel agent and did not deal with customer service

  • 06 August, 2018

Trip: The hotels were wonderful. Enjoyed their breakfast spread. The dinners we had were great. Especially the last dinner! And I enjoyed the sights in each city

Service: I was very impressed with our tour guide. Her knowledge, attitude, helpfulness was unsurpassed. And the driver was suburb.

  • 04 August, 2018

Trip: Even though the weather was a challenge at times the itinerary was flexible and therefor accommodating.

Service: Outstanding service provided by our hostess Jen Hirtle and all hotel personnel. Our coach driver Eugene was also excellent!
