    TRIP:
    SERVICE:

Trip: all the included highlights and activities. However, suspect the last 2 days might have been boring if we hadn't have taken the Rocky Muntaineer.

Service: Best tour guide ever and a very competent driver. Both very personable. Ben is an amazing tour guide.

    TRIP:
    SERVICE:

    Trip: Every location was wonderful.

Service: Everything was great except the driver. I would first like to say that he was very friendly and knowledgeable. However, his driving irritated almost everyone. He was constantly on and off the gas petal. The engine would rev up and then he would take his foot off the gas. Even when there was little or no traffic, his driving felt that he was in heavy bumper to bumper traffic. Very annoying!

    TRIP:
    SERVICE:

Trip: Enjoyed all of the places we visited and the different activities, especially the rafting.

Service: Didn’t deal with Luxury Gold directly as I organised our tour through a travel agent.

  • 10 August, 2018

    TRIP:
    SERVICE:

Trip: Varied, with, in the context of the total time, enough time in each location

Service: Excellent Travelling Concierge. Good itinerary. Comfortable coach. BUT left waiting at Vancouver Airport for an hour and a half because the driver left just before we got to the Meeting Point and did not realise that he had left 1/3 of his passengers until he was halfway to the hotel and then took no action.

    TRIP:
    SERVICE:

Trip: We were able to see all of the highlights. Great Itinerary.

Service: Tour Director and Bus Driver were excellent. Two drinks per dinner would have been better for the price of the trip. The Rocky Mountaineer train ride was a little too long, with two 10 to 12 hour days from the time you left the hotel to the time you finished.

    TRIP:
    SERVICE:

Trip: Nice scenery but not the best that Canada has to offer. Unfortunately the train goes where the tracks are laid. The greatest disappointment was the hotel in Kamloops, the 540. Far below the standard I would have expected for Gold Leaf service. Surely you can do better!

Service: The service was outstanding from end to end. I would particularly like to commend the chef on our train car (J05 9507 I believe). I think his name was Spencer. He prepared two special meals for me to meet my dietary requirements. The second one was exceptional. While he made it up on the spot could deserves a place on the regular menu. His dish was better than those I was served at 5 star restaurants across western Canada. He should be acknowledged for making my trip so much better.

    TRIP:
    SERVICE:

Trip: This itinerary took us to all the places we wanted to visit and also to some that we didn’t know about. The hotels were good ,as were the restaurants used. We felt we had really got a feeling of the Rockies but also of Vancouver, Vancouver Island and Whistler.

Service: The Tour Director was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, well organised and enthusiastic. This meant that our travel each day was trouble free and enjoyable.
