English and French cultures melt into this romantic journey through the picturesque and historic cities of Eastern Canada. From high rise Toronto to the thundering thrills of Niagara Falls, and quality time in the beautiful cities of Ottawa and Quebec, this Luxury Gold journey is a mixture of excitement, culture and quaint charm. Dine at the family run Le Moulin de Saint Laurent on Ile d'Orleans in a historic former flour mill where Chef Martin Pronovost has prepared an evening of seasonal cuisine and music. In Montreal's Saint-Joseph Oratory you'll learn how a pipe organ works and enjoy a short recital of the different styles of organ music. The castle like surrounds of the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac provide you with a historic home in Old Quebec City. This moderately paced journey consists of nearly all two-night stays. Even so, being a shorter duration and with so much included, time often seems to fly by. Of course, that's why the relaxing Canada and New England Cruise is such a popular addition, allowing guests the best of both worlds.

In the evening, you will be taken on the Ile d'Orleans for a private Highlight Dinner at Le Moulin de Saint Laurent, a stone watermill dating back to the early 18th century. Chef Martin will prepare a superb regional meal hinting at the season and using only the freshest local produce and ingredients, while musicians spoil you with a diverse musical repertoire.

We thought the food was very good and the bus (transportation) was excellent. The guide and bus driver did an excellent job.

    Wonderful

7/7/2016 Lorraine Obrien, Winston Hills, Australia

It was a very interesting tour. Food and accommodation was excellent. I cannot speak highly enough of the tour guide, Max Davidson. He made every day exciting and interesting. His service to customers was over and above what could be expected. A wonderfully warm man who deserves a lot of credit for the passion he shows for his job. Lorraine O'Brien. The Scenic tour following a long way behind Scenic in all aspects of touring.

    Beautiful Capital Cities

7/2/2016 Sherryl Feliciani, Springfield (PA), Springfield (PA)

Insight never disappoints! The accommodations were amazing. The staffs at all four hotels were extremely helpful, no question was unimportant. The biggest plus of our tour was our tour director, Max Davidson. He was not only very knowledgeable when it came to telling us about the various sights and locales, but he was very approachable, made the tour guests feel at ease and "important". His biggest concern was that we had experiences that would make lasting memories. One of the highlights he planned for us was dinner at LeMoulin de St-Laurent, Ile d'Orleans, outside of Quebec City. A wonderful night of great food and wonderful entertainment by Martin Verret, violinist, with his brother, Patrick, on guitar. The walled city of Quebec City was an overall favorite of the tour guests and Insight allowed us time on our own to really explore the town and Max gave us great suggestions as to where to eat and shop. The tour made great memories for us. I will add here that the only thing you will not get on this tour is a lot of Canada's varying scenery. But the cities are the attraction and that is what the traveler must keep in mind.

    Heather and Bills Excellent journey

6/10/2016 Michael Regan, Albury (NSW), Albury (NSW)

Well didn't Heather run a very "Tidy" Tour with her helpful advice of times where to be, knowledge and History of where we were, and entertaining and fun stories as well as what popped up along the way. And Bills expertise of navigation around a traffic jam on the freeway gave us an excellent and picturess bypass through some very scenic towns we would otherwise of missed, and he also had plenty of knowledge and history to share along the way.

    Canadian Capitols Tour

9/2/2013 Jeffrey Cathie, Happy Valley, Australia

Many thanks for the Tour we really enjoyed with you in Canada recently. Good agenda, saw all the highlights, but the biggest contribution to our holiday was the Tour Director, Carmine Sannuto and driver Bill. Carmine from the first time we met was just excellent and was so helpful, interesting, humorous, inciteful, informative, courteous, informative and nothing was too much trouble. Your Tour would not be the same without someone like Carmine he is excellent. Many thanks Jeff Cathie Adelaide South Australia.

8/10/2013 Janice Rochwerger, Milwaukee, United States

It was a great trip! We learned the history behind the sights & had a great group on our bus. Out tour director was friendly, knowledgeable & fun. We enjoyed the time we had on our own, so we could rest a little & walk around as we liked. This was our second Insight vacation & won't be our last!
