  1. Day 1

    A Bite of the Big Apple

    On arrival at JFK, Newark or La Guardia airports, you will be met and transferred to your luxurious hotel, the Park Hyatt New York. At 18:00, join your Travelling Concierge for a Welcome Reception and an opportunity to mingle and get to know each other over a pleasant evening with drinks and a light meal.

  2. Day 2 - Relaxed Start

    Exploring NYC

    (Relaxed Start) A Local Expert lays bare the city highlights and will show you the Statue of Liberty from Battery Park, marvel at New York's iconic Empire State and Chrysler Buildings and a visit to some of Central Park's gardens. Afterwards, visit renowned Grand Central Station with a Local Expert. The rest of the day is at leisure.

  3. Day 3 - Relaxed Start

    Vanderbilt’s Newport and Boston

    (Relaxed Start) Journey to historic Newport, Rhode Island. Travel along Ocean Drive, lined with the Gilded Age mansions of America's wealthiest families. Visit The Breakers, the grandest of Newport's summer 'cottages' and a symbol of the Vanderbilt family's preeminence in turn of the century America.

  4. Day 4

    Historic Boston

    Gain a fascinating insight into the history of 'Beantown' during the morning's historical sightseeing tour. With several stops along Boston's famed Freedom Trail, you'll hear about the struggle and courage of the American colonists during revolutionary times. View the colourful neighbourhoods of Back Bay and Bunker Hill, site of the noted revolutionary battle. Take a student-led visit of prestigious Harvard University, America's oldest university founded in 1636. Relax and linger over a delicious Highlight Dinner at The Chart House.

  5. Day 5

    Exploring the Streets of Philadelphia

    Set out for Philadelphia, founded by the Quakers to escape religious persecution and still known as the 'City of Brotherly Love'. Amid 'America's Most Historic Square Mile' explore Independence National Historic Park and its historic attractions. View Independence Hall, (where America's founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776), and the cracked Liberty Bell. In the evening, savour a Highlight Dinner at Davio's - a jewel in the Philadelphia restaurant world, serving Northern Italian cuisine.

  6. Day 6

    Monumental Washington, D.C

    Embark on a morning VIP Taste of Philly food tour. A food connoisseur will reveal the fascinating history behind some of Philly's most famous cuisine at the historic Reading Terminal Market before your afternoon arrival in to Washington, D.C. See the city from a completely different viewpoint: lit up by the night sky on an Illumination Tour on-board your motorcoach, including the Jefferson Memorial and a rooftop walk at the Kennedy Center.

  7. Day 7 - Relaxed Start

    Washington, D.C. Sightseeing

    (Relaxed Start) Begin your day embarking on an insightful tour of Washington, D.C. with a Local Expert. View some of the capital's most famous landmarks, including the White House, Washington Monument and National Mall. Contemplate and be inspired as you visit the World War II and Lincoln Memorials. Washington, D.C. is also home to the Library of Congress - the official library of the United States and the largest in the world.   8. Day 8

    Back to New York City

    In the morning, transfer to Ronald Reagan Washington National or Dulles International Airport. Alternatively, continue on to New York City to JFK Airport or to the New York tour hotel for guests wishing to extend their stay. Airport arrival will be at 14:30.
